چکیده
Abstract Introduction Cyclic alternating pattern (CAP) is a marker of sleep instability, and neuroplasticity. Slow wave has been described as stable period, CAP can be funcional delta sleep. The aim this review was to evaluate the normative data parameters according aging process in healthy subjects. Methods Two authors independently searched databases using PRISMA guidelines through systematic meta-analysis. Subgroup analysis tests for heterogeneity were conducted. Descriptive statistics used variables. Meta-analyses performed by Comprehensive Meta- Analysis software. Data extracted from tables provide Results We found evolution rate across lifespan. Squares diamond represent mean while bars range between 95% CI values each age range. analysed 168 individuals analyses. Scoring begin at 3 months life, when K-complexes, bursts, or spindles recognized. Rate increased with age, mainly during first 2 years then decreased adolescence, elderly. A1 subtype high school-aged children slow-wave (SWS). Our meta-analysis registered lowest infants younger than old highest Conclusion NREM connected brain maturation. The depth, especially SWS. Cyclic alternating pattern
Key points • Expressed by the physiological phasic events of NREM sleep, including arousals, cyclic alternating pattern represents the most complex arrangement of sleep microstructure. • Cyclic alternating pattern is organized in sequences organized in successive cycles. Each cyclic alternating pattern cycle is composed of a phase A (phasic events) and a phase B (background rhythm). • Cyclic al...
متن کاملThe NIH Toolbox Pattern Comparison Processing Speed Test: Normative Data.
The NIH Toolbox Pattern Comparison Processing Speed Test was developed to assess processing speed. While initial validation work provides preliminary support for this test in both children and adults, more work is needed to ensure dependability and generalizability. Thus, this replication study examines descriptive data (including age effects), test-retest reliability, and construct validity in...
متن کاملEpigenetics across the human lifespan
Epigenetics has the potential to explain various biological phenomena that have heretofore defied complete explication. This review describes the various types of endogenous human developmental milestones such as birth, puberty, and menopause, as well as the diverse exogenous environmental factors that influence human health, in a chronological epigenetic context. We describe the entire course ...

the speech act of disagreement has been one of the speech acts that has received the least attention in the field of pragmatics. this study investigates the ways power relations, social distance, formality of the context, gender, and language proficiency (for efl learners) influence disagreement and politeness strategies. the participants of the study were 200 male and female native persian s...
15 صفحه اولDeterminants of Time Allocation across the Lifespan
This paper lays the groundwork for a theory of time allocation across the life course, based on the idea that strength and skill vary as a function of age, and that return rates for different activities vary as a function of the combination of strength and skills involved in performing those tasks. We apply the model to traditional human subsistence patterns. The model predicts that young child...
